The mentorship program of YWCC is intended to match seasoned / veteran NJIT students with newly arrived or younger students to help the latter ease their transition to NJIT / YWCC and navigate campus life for the long haul.

YWCC Mentoring for Admitted Students

If you are a student who has been admitted to NJIT’s Ying Wu College of Computing for Fall 2024, and
  • You want to be connected with a current NJIT/YWCC student who can answer your questions about NJIT, YWCC, Newark, Campus life, etc.
  • You want to ease your transition into NJIT/ Newark/ Student life.
  • You want to have a friend/ mentor/ role model who will help you navigate life at NJIT when you join
  • You want to build social/ professional connections at NJIT and beyond
  • You want to start building your professional network and nurture your networking skills
