The BS/MS and BS/PhD programs are accelerated dual degree program which permits qualified NJIT undergraduate students to earn credits toward a MS and PhD degrees. The credits also count towards the BS degree.

Students take 6 credits of graduate course work in their senior year that counts towards both the BS and either a MS or a PhD degree at NJIT.  To take advantage of the 6 credits applied to the graduate degree, students must start the MS or the PhD part of the accelerated BS/MS or BS/PhD within two years after completing the BS degree.
