The BS/MS and BS/PhD programs are accelerated dual degree program which permits qualified NJIT undergraduate students to earn credits toward a MS and PhD degrees. The credits also count towards the BS degree.
Students take 6 credits of graduate course work in their senior year that counts towards both the BS and either a MS or a PhD degree at NJIT. To take advantage of the 6 credits applied to the graduate degree, students must start the MS or the PhD part of the accelerated BS/MS or BS/PhD within two years after completing the BS degree.
Marek Rusinkiewicz, PhD, of Califon, was elected a Fellow of Web Information System Engineering (WISE) Society during the 2013 WISE Conference in Nanjing China. Rusinkiewicz, who is dean of the College of Computing Sciences, was recognized for his contributions to science and technology.
